Process

Extensive preparation is essential prior to the application of our Therma Pro System, all surfaces are inspected for cracks, blown render, penetrating damp and other defects before the system can be applied. These problems must be treated to ensure the long life of the Therma Pro System. All surfaces are extensively cleaned by our 360 directional hydro wash system to eliminate all traces of moss, lichen, algae, carbonation and pollutants, all windows, doors and areas not being treated will be masked up, floors and adjacent structures will be protected. Protective coverings are used around your property to protect it and its surroundings. 

Step 1 - Gunning

Needle Gunning is essential on previously painted surfaces as this will remove all loose and
flaky paint to reveal those hidden cracks.

Step 2 - Open Cracks

Open Cracks need to be compounded allowing them to be taken back to there original substrate, the cracks are then filled in using a specialised machine which will prevent re-appearance after the application within the Therma Pro System.

Step 3 - Hammer Testing

All areas are hammer tested for blown and defective render; these areas are then removed and will be replaced and treated during the renovation.

Step 4 - Sealant Process

Aqua Pro sealant is a major part of the Therma Pro System; this has to be applied to the full surface being treated, which will reinforce the micro-elasticity to exfoliated substrate allowing it to bond. This will stabilise and seal the surface and also creates the perfect platform for the top coats to be applied.

Step 5 - Therma Pro

These are applied using specialist spray equipment imported from America. The first coat is applied and must be allowed to dry before the second coat can be applied (drying time will vary depending on weather conditions). The second coat will then be applied.
