Process

Step 1 - Cleaning Down

All tiles are thoroughly cleaned by our multi directional pressure jet system to remove all traces of moss, algae, lichen, pollutants and carbonation. All gutters and edging are cleaned to remove all traces of unwanted film and other build up. Utmost care is taken including protective coverings to protect the surroundings.

Step 2 - Biocide Flush

A bio degradable solution is applied to impregnate existing surfaces to eliminate any underlying active infestation of moss & lichen spores.
This will also stop any future re-growth in years to come, preventing any underneath spoilage to the finished coating.

Step 3 - Restoration Work

All defective mortar between crests, ridge and hip tiles is hacked out and re-pointed using a fibre re-enforced polymer mortar. Any loose ridges, crests etc are re-bedded.All damaged, broken or delaminated roof tiles are replaced using the same or similar design. All damage
to mortar verges will be re-sealed within this process.

Step 4 - Sealant Process

Aqua Pro sealant is applied to all areas being treated, this restores micro-porosity to weathered tiles. The sealant also stabilises the existing surface and forms the perfect surface for the top coat.

Step 5 - Top Coat

We apply the top coat using specialist airless spray equipment; we have a range of colours you can choose from.

The first coat is applied and then allowed to dry (please note: drying time will vary depending on the temperature at time of application). The second coat is applied to give a finish of a newly installed roof.
